FARMINGDALE, N.Y., June 17 -- Cemtrex Inc. (OTC: CTEI) has recently partnered with CBS Corporation and EcoZone Media for the "Green My Schools" contest. Cemtrex has agreed to be a sponsor for the contest and provide the winner with green technologies.
Students from various schools nationwide participated by creatively responding to the question, "What does it mean to be green?" The final "Green My School" contest submission was evaluated by members of EcoMedia's Advisory Board, the U.S. Green Building Council, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, EPA/Energy Star, Waterkeeper Alliance, as well as government agencies. Miami NW High School was one of the winners of the contest and will receive green technology, such as green DCV, from Cemtrex. Green DCV saves energy in commercial buildings and can generate carbon credits.
