The most advanced Mercury Monitor available today.
The Cemtrex SM-4 has been designed to meet especially the requirements for measuring gases with very low Hg concentrations in a matrix of increased concentrations of SO2, NOx, HCl and others as found in stack gases.Applications include coal fired power plants, waste incinerators, cement kilns and all other process gases which contain mercury traces in a complex matrix.
Applications
- Compliance monitoring, mercury removal control, stack testing
- Coal fired power plants
- Waste incinerators (municipal, industrial, hazardous waste)
- Sewage sludge incinerators
- Cement kilns
- Thermal treatment plants (soil, hazardous waste and others)
- Metallurgical plants
Features and Benefits of the SM-4
- Dry thermo catalytic method, no need for reagents, water refills or replacements of solid reagent cartridges
- Sample dilution, which eliminates interference from matrix gases like SO2, HCl, NOx and produces a large measuring range
- No generation of liquid waste or condensate
- Extreme high sensitivity providing a low measuring range of 0.05 ug/m3 to 500 ug/m3 (up to 1000 ug/m3 selectable)
- Automatic blow back of particulate filter
- Fast response: t(90) time typically 180-360 seconds
- Sample line length up to 1000 feet
- Prepared for temporary or fixed installation of an ionic calibration gas source (HOVACALTM, HOVAQUICKTM)
- Calibration gas generator (elemental mercury), NIST traceable, optionally to be installed inside the analyzer cabinet
- Very low maintenance demand
